Hey Dizzy, the stuff you post motivates me. What kinda stuff were you doing to during High School to get money?
Thanks man. I did everything. In middle school I was making t-shirts for classmates and cutting grass and all that. By high school, I was already into selling sneakers pretty heavily and I also had a part-time retail job at a clothing store.
Hey Dizzy, was hoping for a quick tip. I'm a 23 year old guy - skinny at about 115 and I'm only 5'6. I feel like my body is somewhat disproportionate, I have very long legs and a small torso and no matter what I wear I just look ridiculous. Can you recommend anything that should work with a body type like mine? Not exactly aesthetically speaking as far as designers, etc... more like specific types of garments in general or combinations that work for small guys like me. Great blog by the way!
Try wearing vertical striped patterns or pinstripes. They elongate your torso and make you look taller. Also, tailor your clothes as much as possible. I have a similar problem, but when a pair of pants or a jacket fits perfectly on you, no one cares what size you are.
You mention that your style comes from "people on the street", can you give an example?
I like to see outfits that are stylish, but also functional. Real everyday people wear functional clothes to accommodate their day-to-day lifestyle. When I see someone dressed well or something that catches my eye, I make a mental note of it.
does the wilson leather jacket fit small or big? im thinking about getting one, but im not to sure on the sizing.
Because leather stretches and breaks in with age, various leather jackets tend to fit differently. If possible, I suggest trying one on before you buy it. If you can’t try it on, get the basic measurements.
